We wanted to choose a site name that was short and easy to remember.  For most people a ".com" address comes to mind before ".net" or ".org" so we used .com.  EpsomBibleChurch.org, while not hard to remember, is long to type out and easy to misspell while typing quickly.  The name EBC.com was already taken, so we went with EBCNH (Epsom Bible Church, New Hampshire).
